A Message from our Principal

Dennis Leigh
Principal
Welcome to the North Campus
The North Campus is home to MD, BD and sensory students, grades 9 – 12 . We offer traditional academic courses aligned to the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards, as well as a variety of vocational courses.
Practical daily living skills and developing employment skills are emphasized on the North Campus. Students have the opportunity to participate in many work-based experiences: CBI, Community Based Instruction, where students participate in an unpaid work experience within the community; Structured Learning Experience, where students work in the community, earn money, learn job skills and receive credits for successful participation; and work study, where students work at school under the guidance and direction of staff. Our goal is to instill a strong work ethic in our students and to encourage and develop independence in everyday living skills.  The North Campus is also home to our Student Ambassador program.  The Student Ambassadors are a small group of high school students dedicated to the positive promotion of our district. In addition to our educational programs, our students enjoy high school activities such as assemblies, field trips, dances, an annual talent show and off-campus Prom, Student Council, participation in the Bell Choir, as well as the Marching Band and a Senior trip to Six Flags.
