Recreation and Leisure activities are important for the Transition team to help identify and or nurture the talents and interests of our young adults.  To support these interests and talets, we have established clubs on Fridays as well as continued with special interest areas.  These special interest areas include Band, Bells, Choir, swimming, floraculture and horticulture, and many Special Olympics sports.  

At Burlington County Special Services School District it is our priority to have a successful Aquatics program. We are continuing to partner with the YMCA to provide and oversee the lifeguards and safety procedures that are in place. The objective of the Burlington County Special Services Aquatics program for our Transition sttudents is to provide a recreational environment. Therefore, we offer swimmig to our students on Fridays during club time.  If needed due to high interests, student will participate on a rotation each week.
